How does booking work?

Enter your pin code, choose a service and time, and we'll show you available caregivers nearby. Pick one, confirm, pay via UPI — done. Your caregiver gets notified instantly and arrives at the scheduled time.

How is pricing determined?

Caregivers set their own rates. You see the full price upfront — no hidden platform fees added at checkout. What you see is what you pay. We charge caregivers 10–15% to run the platform; families pay the listed rate directly.

How are caregivers vetted?

Every caregiver goes through Aadhaar-based identity verification, a criminal background check, and reference checks before their first booking. Only caregivers who pass all three steps are listed on the platform.

What do caregivers actually earn?

Caregivers keep 85–90% of every booking. That's among the highest take-rates in the gig economy. A part-time caregiver working 20 hours/week can expect to earn ₹10,000–₹15,000/week depending on their rates and location.

Which cities and pin codes are covered?

We're launching first in Bengaluru and Mumbai. After that: Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Pune, and Chennai. Join the waitlist with your pin code and we'll notify you the moment we're live in your neighbourhood.

What's the cancellation policy?

Cancel up to 2 hours before a booking for a full refund. Cancellations within 2 hours are charged a 50% fee to protect caregivers' time. No-shows are charged in full. Caregivers can also cancel emergencies — in that case, you're fully refunded and we find a replacement.

How does payment work?

Families pay via UPI, debit/credit card, or popular wallets at the time of booking. Caregivers receive their earnings directly to their UPI ID within 24 hours of completing a booking — no minimum balance required.

Is CareNest safe for children and pets?

Yes. Beyond background checks, caregivers for children are CPR-certified. GPS tracking is active throughout all bookings. You can message your caregiver in-app and receive photo/video updates. Our support team is available 7 days a week.
